Lins: It was ok... we went to the free symphony and watched fireworks. It rained all morning. The fireworks were not nearly as good as the fun pyrotechniques of Gillette's... overall it was dissapointing
Lins: How was your Day of Independence in California?
Lins: I want to be in the mud on tuesday.... :(
Lins: So far I am only applying to Baylor... I looked at UTMB in Galveston, but they require immumology in addition to the classes I already need to apply to Baylor... I haven't really looked at any other school yet...

Kristen: My sister was very excited about the coupons and spent a lot of money and then saved a lot with the coupons on Gymboree.com :) Thanks very much! I am glad you updated your blog....since I'm on bedrest I check the blogs about 10 times a day as compared to 2 times a day :)
Kristen: Got the coupons in the mail yesterday! (For what it's worth, I feel the envelope was more than adequate for the contents inside). Thank you very much! Good timing too, as my sister is coming today and would like to use some of the coupons, I am sure! And I gave some to a friend who has a year old son. Much appreciated, and thank you!!!

Kristen: Thanks for the heads up about Gymboree--we got some cute clothes there last time we were there but defniitely need to shop only during sale times.I check your blog every day, not that it helps the huge traffic but hey at least one person checks :) And you're updating more than Lindsey, it seems :):) Off to class...
Lins: I really don't get that much traffic.... I think it's mostly the same people over and over

Fall is here!

There were red and orange leaves all over my car this morning from the tree out front! and Tuesday's high was 67 degrees and yesterday was 69! I wish it could be like that all year. I can't wait for the rain to come. I need to get an umbrella first though. Oooh, and maybe some galoshas (or however you spell that).

In other news, I got a job today. I will be taking customer sevice calls to recharge peoples' pre-paid phones and calling cards. I start on Tuesday and will be working between 4AM and Noon everyday so that should be great. But it's one less thing I have to worry about for right now. I would eventually like to work for comcast's call center because their employees get free cable and internet.

So, I'm just waiting to hear back about the apartment I applied for, for which there is someone else ahead of me, so I probably won't get it, but at the same time, don't want to pull my application just in case. But, I really need my own place... well, I WANT my own place anyway. Roommates are so overrated.
